We are looking for:

VMware Specialist – Enterprise Environment

Responsibilities

Must-have Skills

• Operation, administration, and further development of complex VMware platforms in an enterprise data center
• Responsibility for VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), NSX-T, and vSAN
• Execution of migration, upgrade, lifecycle, and patch management projects (including VMware 8.x ? 9.x)
• Analysis and resolution of complex issues in 2nd and 3rd level support
• Automation of operational processes and collaboration with manufacturers and external service providers
• Support in the areas of storage, backup, and disaster recovery
• Several years of experience in the operation and administration of large VMware environments
• Very good knowledge of vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), NSX-T, and vSAN
• Experience with current VMware/Broadcom technologies and releases
• In-depth experience in troubleshooting complex enterprise environments
• Know-how in Data Center Operations and Service Management
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows server landscapes

Nice to have

Framework Conditions:

• Experience with VMware Aria Operations
• Knowledge of PowerShell and/or Ansible
• Experience with Veeam or comparable backup solutions
• Know-how in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation
• Experience in enterprise or colocation data centers
