Assignment description

Safety first! As a Warehouse Employee at Enexis, we prioritize safe working. With or without a reach truck, you are key to smooth logistics. Process orders, collect items both indoors and outdoors, and ensure reliable stock. Join us and make a difference!

This is how you will tackle this challenge

Enexis prioritizes safety, so the most important thing you will do is work safely. As a Warehouse Employee, you will work in our distribution center and in the outdoor area, performing various logistics tasks with or without a reach truck or side loader. Since the products to be unloaded, picked, and loaded in the outdoor area are long and/or robust, it is important that you know how to handle a larger load on the forks of your forklift or side loader.

Responsibilities

Processing outgoing orders, these are large and small packages

Collecting items using a reach truck, stacker, or side loader (5-ton, 7-ton)

Unloading incoming shipments with items that need to go into stock after inspection

Preparing orders for transport

Loading open trucks with a side loader/forklift

Performing inventory counts to ensure reliable stock.

Performing additional tasks

Cleaning and tidying the workspace

Your colleagues from the Logistics department. For Enexis's primary process, approximately €180 million worth of material is installed and assembled annually at project locations, such as electricity cables, gas pipes, switchgear, and transformers.

The Supply Chain Management department plays an important role in the entire logistics chain, which consists of many different internal departments and suppliers. The department consists of approximately 175 FTEs working at two distribution centers (DC) in Veldhoven and Hoogeveen and ten Logistics Service Points (LSP) throughout the entire service area where you will work. All equipment is stored in the DCs, and the LSPs are used to make smaller materials available as close as possible to our operations and to provide service to our production facilities.

The Logistics Production South Team consists of a DC in Veldhoven, 6 LSPs, and several unmanned distribution points. The DC in Veldhoven consists of about 80 employees, with a balance between young and old.

Driven, able to work well in a team, and enjoy your work. In addition, for this role, you are quality- and customer-oriented, flexible, accurate, and work safely in the warehouse.

Furthermore, you have:

Certified and demonstrable experience with an EPT, forklift, and reach truck

Experience with warehouse activities and order picking

Good command of the Dutch language

Plus: experience with SAP/hand scanners

Willingness to obtain a side loader certificate
