• Project Description
• The scope includes the development of web applications for timetable construction. Capacity2Schedule (C2S) is one of several value teams within DB InfraGO, implements the timetable & capacity management processes, and operates independently.
• The development of the Construction Communication Platform (KOMBau) is one of the essential measures from the joint consultations with the railway transport market. KOMBau has been productive since August 2023 and enables consultation of authorized persons regarding planned construction measures by DB InfraGO.
• In the coming expansion stages, the functionality of KOMBau is to be successively expanded to become the leading system for cross-phase customer communication in construction management, taking legal requirements into account.
• KOMBau has the following specific goals:
• Standardized and coordinated communication between authorized persons and construction timetable employees within the framework of legal requirements
• Transparency of changes to construction measures and their impact, starting
• 40 months from the validity of the timetable until the completion of construction work
• Replacement of the previous application for punctual coordination of construction measures.
• Role Description
• Consulting an Agile Release Train, which is part of a larger Solution Train
• Consulting in the development of an application in a product development team, which is organized together with other Agile Teams based on the SAFe Framework in an Agile Release Train (ART)
• Consulting a cross-functional Agile Team, in which each team member takes on various tasks in the team in addition to their respective consulting area (T-shaped)
• Consideration of regulatory requirements from the contexts TAF/TAP TSI of Directive 2016/797/EU and Annex VII of Directive 2012/34/EU
• Analysis of complex issues and work processes of users, and implementation of the analysis results in the application, taking into account new findings and changing external framework conditions
• Analysis of problem areas in the consulting context, and development and evaluation of action options for solving the problems according to market best practices and considering the customer situation
• Support of the Product Owner in clarifying requirements with specialist departments and architects
• Conducting interviews with stakeholders for requirements gathering
• Evaluation and execution of requirements workshops
• Collection, analysis, description, and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements in the consulting area
• Specification of requirements using natural language and UML
• Creation of artifacts for planning and implementation according to agile procedures (Epics, Features, Stories)
• Creation and adaptation of technical documents (e.g., use cases, technical concepts, functional system descriptions, functional service descriptions, functional interface descriptions, input/output layouts) in the consulting area
• Evaluation of functional architectures in the consulting area regarding current and future foreseeable requirements and scaling
• Functional coordination with interface partners
• Content-related and planning coordination with members of the implementation team, architects, and responsible persons of the teams involved in the value chain
• Consulting in the implementation phase (e.g., technical architects and development teams)
• Description and execution of acceptance-relevant test cases
• Creation and adaptation of system documentation and user manual
• Support in taking over operational responsibility within the framework of DevOps
• Consulting the Product Owner in carrying out risk management by evaluating and documenting technical risks, deriving and advising on action options for risk elimination or minimization
• Moderation of larger events (e.g., project meetings, requirements workshops) and conducting presentations in the consulting area
• Promoting knowledge exchange and standardization within the team

Your Qualifications

• Systemic thinking and derivation of dependencies
• Experience in business process analysis and design
• Experience in functional architecture and requirements management
• Proven experience in cross-departmental business process analysis and design in at least 4 IT projects
• Proven experience in requirements management and consulting in at least 4 IT
• Projects with highly complex functional architecture (especially microservice architecture)
• At least three years of project experience in methodological competence for analysis & modeling, e.g., UML modeling, Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Story Mapping, Customer Journey, Eventstorming, Agile Modeling, Empathy Mapping, Stakeholder Mapping, Design Thinking, Personas
• Business Analysis, Requirements Management
• Moderation of events (e.g., technical reviews, user workshops)
• At least three years of experience with Jira and Confluence applications
• Practical experience in the use of Artificial Intelligence within the scope of the task area (e.g., Kiro, CoPilot)
• At least two years of practical experience in the application of Scrum (incl. Scrum certification)
• At least one year of practical experience in SAFe at the level of an Agile team, proven in the profile
• Experience in the railway environment, ideally at DB Vertrieb, DB Fernverkehr or DB InfraGO (formerly DB Netz)
• Knowledge of Order-2-Cash and Order-2-Fulfillment processes or timetable and capacity management processes
• Proven practical experience in problem-solving and work organization in the profile
• Coordination with contact persons inside and outside the platform
• Early identification of risks and their addressing to risk managers
• Moderation of cross-departmental events with at least 15 participants, proven in the profile
• At least two years of experience in user presentations at the operational and tactical level, proven in the profile
• Certification in Scaled Agile Framework, e.g., SAFe Agilist
