• You will develop and expand software and firmware solutions for the Jungheinrich forklift operating system based on customer requirements and internal specifications
• You will conceptualize, design, and implement high-performance software in Structured Text (ST / CoDeSys) and/or C++ (Eclipse)
• You will develop automation and auxiliary tools using Python, PowerShell, and Batch
• You will integrate vehicle components and support the commissioning of prototype vehicles
• You will adapt the CAN bus driver software on the hardware layer of the operating system and continuously develop it further
• You will work closely with hardware development on the definition of interfaces, pin assignments, and the selection of electronic components
• You will perform module, integration, and system tests
• You will analyze and fix errors and perform debugging as part of the verification of system requirements
• You will use analysis and trace tools such as FlexPro and Vector tools and familiarize yourself with internal tracing tools
• You will create and maintain technical documentation, functional descriptions, specifications, and test reports in Polarion

Your Qualifications

• You have a degree in Computer Engineering, Data and Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
• You have experience in embedded software development or hardware-related software development
• You have good knowledge of C++ and/or Structured Text (ST / CoDeSys)
• You have knowledge of CAN bus communication
• You have experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Batch
• You have basic knowledge in the areas of software testing, validation, and debugging
• You are proficient with modern development tools and version control systems
• You are characterized by an analytical and structured way of thinking as well as an independent and solution-oriented approach to work
• You work closely and constructively with software and hardware developers
