Project overview

We are looking for a Windows Server System Engineer to work with one of our large clients based in Guyancourt (78), within a team responsible for the design, evolution, operational maintenance (MCO), and security maintenance (MCS) of Microsoft Windows Server environments.

Profile Sought:

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer Windows, with at least 5 years of experience in the administration, operation, and operational maintenance of Windows Server infrastructures, ideally acquired within a large client.

With a Bac+5 degree in IT, you have a mastery of Windows Server, SCCM, and PowerShell environments, and possess solid experience in managing complex incidents, automation, and infrastructure security.

You are autonomous, rigorous, and capable of managing multiple technical projects simultaneously. You have good analytical and synthesis skills, excellent interpersonal qualities, and effective communication to collaborate with different technical teams and external providers.

• Take charge of and resolve complex N3+ level incidents on Windows Server environments.
• Ensure the operational maintenance (MCO) and security maintenance (MCS) of the Windows Server park.
• Monitor and analyze MCO/MCS KPIs in coordination with the Offshore provider.
• Manage and challenge the Offshore provider's interventions to guarantee service quality.
• Participate in evolution and optimization projects for Windows Server infrastructures.
• Carry out deployments and manage the park via SCCM.
• Develop and implement PowerShell scripts to automate administration tasks.
• Identify and propose solutions for optimizing and automating technical processes.
• Analyze and handle security incidents related to Windows environments.
• Guarantee the stability, availability, and security of infrastructures in a production environment.
• Participate in several technical projects in parallel in collaboration with the infrastructure, operations, and security teams.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Proven experience in administration and operation of Windows infrastructures.
• Mastery of SCCM for park management and deployments.
• Strong skills in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience in managing and resolving complex N3+ incidents.
• Good knowledge of MCO/MCS processes and performance indicator (KPI) monitoring.
• Knowledge of security issues for Windows Server environments.
• Good command of the constraints and requirements related to IT production environments.
• Significant experience within a large client environment.
• ITIL certification mandatory.
• Operational English, written and spoken, in a regular professional context.
