Windows Specialist | Windows Client Engineering | Intune | Autopilot | PowerShell

For the further development of a large Windows client environment, we are looking for an experienced senior personality with a focus on Modern Workplace, Endpoint Management, Windows Autopilot, and automation.

In this role, you will support the modernization of the client platform both conceptually and in implementation. You will contribute best practices, assist with roadmaps and technical decision-making bases, and work closely with Workplace Teams, Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Technical Decision-Makers.

Role: Windows Specialist

• Further development of the Windows client environment towards a modern, cloud-oriented workplace
• Operation, optimization, and automation of client management solutions with a focus on stable operating and deployment models
• Co-design of modern deployment processes with Windows Autopilot, Enrollment, Provisioning, and device configuration
• Analysis and optimization of security, compliance, performance, patch, update, lifecycle, change, and configuration processes
• Support for support and workplace teams in complex incidents, in-depth analyses, and sustainable solutions
• Participation in new Windows versions, features, and platform components, including technical documentation
• Development of scripts, automations, and small tools with PowerShell and, if necessary, C#, .NET, or comparable technologies
• Support with roadmap topics, variant evaluations, test cases, validations, and technical recommendations
• Several years of experience in Windows Client Engineering, Workplace Engineering, or Endpoint Management
• Experience in large, complex IT environments, ideally with several thousand managed clients
• Profound knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11, policies, drivers, application deployment, patch management, and client security
• Practical experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager, Co-Management, Cloud Attach, and modern endpoint management architectures
• Experience with Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Entra Join, Hybrid Join, and automated enrollment processes
• Good PowerShell skills for automating recurring tasks and supporting stable operating processes
• Understanding of workplace security, security baselines, compliance policies, Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access, and hardening requirements
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly, contribute best practices, and prepare technical decisions soundly
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working with a high degree of personal responsibility
• Knowledge of C#, .NET, or comparable technologies is an advantage
