Function

For a challenging assignment within a complex organization, we are looking for an AI Security Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating security across the entire AI lifecycle. You will protect AI solutions, models, data, and integrations, while helping to build a safe and responsible application of AI within the organization.

• Performing threat modeling, risk analyses, and security assessments for GenAI, machine learning, and agentic AI solutions
• Designing and implementing security guardrails around identity management, least privilege, secrets management, network isolation, data protection, and prompt security
• Testing abuse scenarios such as prompt injection, data exfiltration, excessive privileges, untrustworthy output, and misuse of AI tools or agents
• Integrating security requirements into sandbox environments, gateways, development and deployment pipelines, model management, and production platforms
• Co-designing security monitoring and incident response processes for AI components
• Evaluating vendors, models, libraries, and external AI services from a security and risk perspective
• Advising various stakeholders on AI security and supporting multidisciplinary decision-making
• Contributing to the secure and responsible deployment of AI within the organization
• Demonstrable experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, application security, IAM, SOC, or DevSecOps
• Strong understanding of the risks associated with LLMs, AI agents, retrieval solutions, and model and data supply chains
• Experience with security testing, technical risk analyses, and formulating concrete improvement measures
• Ability to enable innovative AI solutions with balanced and pragmatic security measures
• Knowledge of GDPR, AI Act, NIS2, or similar regulations and frameworks
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams of IT, business, security, and architecture profiles
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts understandably to different target audiences
• Analytical mindset and a pragmatic approach to complex issues
• Results-oriented and able to deliver quality within set deadlines
• Knowledge of the public sector or experience within a governmental context is a plus
