A bank is seeking a consultant to redefine its Product Management organization's Target Operating Model (TOM) to leverage generative AI and agents, and to help teams build the tools that support this new model.
Project overview
Context
A bank is undertaking the transformation of its Product Management organization to leverage the new possibilities of generative AI and agents. It is looking for a consultant to redefine the Target Operating Model (TOM) for the product division and make it concrete in the daily lives of the teams. The role is halfway between a transformation consultant and a Forward Deployed Engineer: one must be able to design the target model and also build, with the teams, the tools that bring it to life.

- Diagnose the current functioning of Product Management: roles, rituals, product lifecycle, tools, friction points
- Identify stages of the product cycle that AI can transform: discovery, analysis of customer feedback, writing user stories, prioritization, documentation, testing, reporting
- Redefine the TOM for the product division: roles and responsibilities (PM, PO, design, data), new rituals, governance, target skills, interactions with IT
- Prototype concrete use cases with the teams (assistants, agents, automated workflows) and measure their contribution
- Define the rules for using AI in a regulated banking environment: sensitive data, compliance, risks, security
- Build the deployment trajectory and support adoption: workshops, training, ambassadors, indicators
- Minimum 7 years of experience, including consulting firm experience (required)
- Solid experience in organizational transformation or Operating Model, ideally in product or digital divisions
- Very good knowledge of Product Management: discovery, roadmap, backlog, scaled product organization
- Concrete and recent experience with generative AI tools (LLMs, assistants, agents, automation) and ability to prototype oneself
- Ease in interacting with diverse stakeholders, from management to product and IT teams
- Posture: autonomous, pragmatic, capable of moving from slides to prototypes
