Experienced Communication Advisor Projects Smart & Clean On The Road

Responsibilities

You will support projects such as the Employer Approach, A12 Smart Travel, and the Obstacle Approach. Your focus will include communication with employers and employees, helping employers to inform, inspire, and activate them regarding sustainable mobility.

Smart & Clean On The Road is a collaboration between various partners working on smart and sustainable mobility in the Arnhem-Nijmegen region. Smart & Clean On The Road focuses on, among other things, the employer approach, cycling stimulation, public transport, education approach, resident approach, obstacle approach, shared mobility, and other projects contributing to sustainable travel choices. You will be part of the communication team of Smart & Clean On The Road, coordinating program communication.

You do not have a fixed work location and will work from home or at various locations in the region, including at the Green Metropolitan Region Arnhem Nijmegen, Rijkswaterstaat, or a location in Nijmegen. You will provide your own laptop, phone, and other facilities. You will receive an email address from Smart & Clean On The Road.

• Developing and executing communication approaches for projects and campaigns.
• Advising on communication and translating plans into concrete actions.
• Writing and editing content for websites, newsletters, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Developing and managing communication tools and campaigns.
• Maintaining contact with project partners, employers, and other stakeholders.
• Gathering stories and developments from projects and translating them into engaging communication.
• Contributing to the strategic direction and communication efforts for the upcoming period.
• Demonstrable acting at a minimum HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level through education and/or work experience
• Demonstrable minimum 3 years of work experience (since 2021) as a communication advisor or similar role related to this assignment
• Demonstrable minimum 2 years (since 2021) of work experience with project and program communication
• Demonstrable recent knowledge and minimum 2 years of work experience (since 2021) in writing and editing content for websites, newsletters, LinkedIn, and other channels
• Demonstrable several years of work experience (since 2020) in the Arnhem/Nijmegen region related to this assignment
• You know how to reach and activate different target groups, especially employers
• You have an affinity with sustainable mobility and behavioral change
