Expert C# .NET Developer — Algorithmic Trading

Project overview

We are looking for an expert C#/.NET developer for a long-term mission with our client in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region, to join a team that designs and evolves a trading order execution system (execution, trades, positions).

You will work closely with traders, within a squad dedicated to algorithms.

Responsibilities

You will be hired on a permanent executive contract (CDI cadre) with Ingéniance, and you will join our community of capital markets experts.

Profile sought

BAC+5 degree (engineering or university) and solid experience in C#/.NET development, ideally on real-time trading applications. You have mastered WPF, multithreading, and the design of low-latency systems. You are familiar with electronic trading, algorithmic trading, the functioning of an order book, and order placement. Knowledge of commodity markets (gas, electricity) is highly valued. You master Git and Azure DevOps. Fluent English, both spoken and written. Comfortable in direct contact with traders, you have good listening and communication skills, can manage multiple topics in parallel, and work in a team.

• Develop trading algorithms related to their activity on energy markets (gas, electricity) with the traders.
• Contribute to the framework of the execution system: design, evolutions, performance improvements.
• Gather requirements and write specifications with the business teams.
• Develop, test, and document software components in C#/.NET, with particular attention to low latency and multithreading.
• Industrialize via the software factory (Git, Azure DevOps) and deploy to production.
• Provide functional and technical support, corrective and evolutionary maintenance. On-call duties are possible.
