The assignment focuses on optimising finance processes within AFAS for a Transport & Distribution organisation.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Improve and streamline financial processes within AFAS, spotting opportunities for efficiency gains across the finance function
• Manage and strengthen financial reporting to provide accurate, timely and actionable insights to stakeholders
• Manage the purchase invoice workflow and contribute to seamless monthly and annual closing procedures
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning with relevant analysis and recommendations
• Act as the AFAS subject matter expert, working with finance and business teams to resolve issues and improve workflows
• Strong capability in financial analysis and reporting
• Extensive practical expertise in AFAS, covering finance modules, reporting and process improvement
• Fluent Dutch language skills
• Practical knowledge of financial processes in a finance environment
• Availability to work from the office five days a week
