Project overview
The assignment focuses on optimising finance processes within AFAS for a Transport & Distribution organisation.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Improve and streamline financial processes within AFAS, spotting opportunities for efficiency gains across the finance function
- Manage and strengthen financial reporting to provide accurate, timely and actionable insights to stakeholders
- Manage the purchase invoice workflow and contribute to seamless monthly and annual closing procedures
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning with relevant analysis and recommendations
- Act as the AFAS subject matter expert, working with finance and business teams to resolve issues and improve workflows
- Strong capability in financial analysis and reporting
- Extensive practical expertise in AFAS, covering finance modules, reporting and process improvement
- Fluent Dutch language skills
- Practical knowledge of financial processes in a finance environment
- Availability to work from the office five days a week
