Project Employee 'Earlier Applications in the Planning Process' (Contract)

Project overview

As a project employee, you will support municipalities in implementing the 'Earlier Applications in the Planning Process' method in the areas of grid congestion and housing construction.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Supporting municipalities in the introduction of the new working method
• Representing municipal interests in consultation with the national government and other stakeholders
• Organizing and facilitating online meetings, workshops, and knowledge sessions
• Maintaining direct contact with municipalities and involved parties
• Analyzing and elaborating on signals and policy questions from municipalities
• Preparing and following up on relevant policy and implementation issues
• Representing the interests of the municipality within the collaborative framework
• Participating in working groups and relevant consultations
• Setting up an evaluation of the working method and facilitating knowledge sessions
• Contributing to knowledge sharing between municipalities and other involved organizations
• Completed WO (university) education, preferably in environmental sciences or management
• Demonstrable experience within area development and stakeholder management related to grid congestion
• Experience as a project employee within a government institution
• Experience with building and maintaining networks between governments and societal organizations
• Familiarity with the societal prioritization framework surrounding grid congestion
