Project Leader Strengthening Financial Function

Project overview

The assignment focuses on strengthening and anchoring the financial function of 1Stroom.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Supporting the organization in the further elaboration, implementation, and safeguarding of the Financial Function development agenda
• Strengthening the financial foundation by elaborating and safeguarding improvement measures
• Further developing the Planning & Control cycle, including forecasting, budget control, and monthly cyclical work
• Professionalizing financial advice towards management and board
• Promoting ownership and collaboration within the financial chain
• Documenting work processes and delivering a development agenda for the next phase towards reorganization
• Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable work experience within municipal finance
• Demonstrable experience with organizational development and professionalization of financial functions in a municipal organization, supported by a concrete practical example
• Experience gained with Planning & Control processes, financial control, and corporate control
• Experience with implementing organization-wide improvement and change initiatives
• CV of maximum 5 pages, excluding cover letter and cover sheet, drawn up in Dutch, with at least two references
