Senior Business Analyst – Customer Domain & AI SDLC (f/m/d)

Project overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs and IT execution while driving the responsible use of AI in our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will support Product Owners and agile teams by translating complex business challenges within the Customer Domain into clear, deliverable increments.

• Requirements Engineering: Analyze complex needs in Customer Onboarding, Lifecycle Management, and Master Data Management. Translate these into clear user stories, API specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Agile Delivery: Support the Product Owner with backlog structuring, prioritization, and decision preparation in a modern agile environment.
• AI Integration: Actively use AI tools to accelerate the SDLC—drafting requirements, generating test scenarios, summarizing stakeholder input, and identifying process gaps.
• Collaboration & Testing: Work closely with developers, architects, UX, and QA to ensure shared understanding, define expected outcomes, and facilitate proper user acceptance testing.
• Experience: 5+ years in Business Analysis, Requirements Engineering, or a comparable role within agile IT environments.
• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of data management, API definitions, and service-oriented architectures. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Miro, and BPMN tools.
• AI SDLC Skills: Practical ability to design prompts, turn unstructured inputs into structured requirements, and leverage AI for backlog refinement and impact analysis.
• Critical Validation: Ability to use AI responsibly—challenging generated content, identifying hallucinations, and validating outputs with Subject Matter Experts.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience with Customer Master Data or Lifecycle processes is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical thinking to structure complex, ambiguous topics and bridge IT/Business perspectives.
• Confident facilitation of workshops, refinement sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Fluent English for business purposes; German is a strong plus.
