Project overview

Context

Our client is an independent mutual insurance group. It covers life insurance, savings, retirement, P&C insurance, and reinsurance. It has a Snowflake Data platform organized into three zones:

Within the Data team and under the responsibility of the Data Manager, the Data & AI Project Manager will:

The project team is to be formed. It will include Data Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and AI engineers, internally or with a partner. It will be supported by the technical manager of the Snowflake platform.

• Bronze (landing): raw data from the IS and external providers.
• Silver: qualified data constituting the Core Business Data Model.
• Gold: consumption datamarts.
• Finalize the Data foundation (Core Business Data Model, Silver zone) by building the unique 360° Life and P&C Client vision;
• Implement the first AI use cases.

• Translate business objectives (marketing, finance, operations) into Data expectations: modeling, processing, algorithms.
• Identify data from source applications and model them in the Core Business Data Model. The scope covers clients, families, contracts, products, surrenders, commercial approaches, client interactions, web targeting, social networks, and official sources.
• Manage ingestion into the Bronze zone and transformation into the Silver zone.
• Implement AI use cases:
• Natural language Self BI for marketing targeting to Dynamics CRM, with Snowflake Cortex as the intended LLM;
• AI-driven client profiling and Next Best Offer, with opportunity pushes to CRM, digital journeys, and the telephone platform.
• Evaluate feasibility, source quality, and ROI of use cases.
• Participate in software selection, define tests, and participate in acceptance.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, risks, and internal and external resources.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business decision-makers.
• Supervise modeling, ETL pipelines, data cleaning, and algorithms.
• Ensure security, GDPR compliance, and data governance.
• Manage supplier relationships, from contract signing to final validation.
• Deploy services, organize maintenance and support.
• Train users (Data Viz, LLM) and promote "Data Driven" culture.
• Guarantee the quality/cost/deadline triangle and report progress, risks, and blockers to the Data Manager.
