Project overview
Our client—a leading international enterprise—is seeking a top-tier Strategic Advisory & Project Management Consultant to act as a senior trusted advisor and execution driver for the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
In this critical engagement, you will function essentially as a strategic partner / Chief of Staff to the CCO, translating overarching commercial ambitions into high-impact initiatives, board-ready deliverables, and disciplined governance across global business units.
o Start Date: 2. November 2026
o End Date: 30. April 2027 (+ 6 months extension)
Responsibilities
o Strategic Advisory & Executive Governance: Drive priority strategic initiatives from inception to execution; establish robust governance frameworks, KPIs, and progress tracking across multiple commercial workstreams.
o Executive & Board-Level Communication: Synthesize complex data and partial information into clear, high-impact insights; author executive briefing papers, Board-level presentations, and commercial recommendations.
o Cross-Functional Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate alignment and accountability among senior cross-functional leaders across sales, marketing, operations, and international regions without direct line authority.
o Commercial Problem-Solving & Ad-Hoc Analytics: Conduct rigorous business analyses, commercial feasibility evaluations, and operational assessments to tackle urgent commercial challenges and capture growth opportunities.
Requirements
o Top-Tier Consulting experience: Minimum of 1–2 years direct-hire experience as a full-time consultant at McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), or Bain & Company (MBB).
o Experience Level: 6 to 10 years of total professional experience, combining top-tier strategy consulting with corporate strategy, commercial operations, or high-growth business leadership.
o Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline); an MBA or advanced graduate degree is strongly preferred.
o Tooling & Craft: Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (executive storyboarding, pyramid principle, Board-ready decks) and Excel (commercial modeling and analytical synthesis).
o Presence & Agility: Demonstrated gravitas in interacting with and advising C-suite executives, high emotional intelligence, and the agility to balance structured project leadership with fast-paced, ambiguous fire drills.
o 1–3 years of specialized exposure in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, or FMCG.
o Direct experience operating within complex, multi-layered matrix organizations or global commercial setups.
Project details
Munich, 3 days per week onsite (Tuesday-Thursday)
o Utilization: Full-time
o Languages: Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory
