Our client in the Banking and Finance sector is looking for a Technical Product Owner – IT Integration H/F

Mission Description:

Context

As part of a transformation program for a financing and services system, a dedicated delivery team is deploying an integration layer between management software and the company's application ecosystem. The team relies on architecture resources, Business Analysts, and developers within a service center. The mission aims to strengthen the operational management of Business Analysts and the quality of integration deliverables.

Mission

As a functional and techno-functional referent, the contractor will lead the operational delivery of a team of 3 to 6 Business Analysts, while also performing Business Analysis activities. They will ensure the understanding of needs and verify that deliverables are coherent, complete, and usable by developers and architects. The role is that of a Lead Business Analyst / Technical Product Owner, not a marketing-oriented functional Product Owner.

Technical Business Analysis and leadership of a Business Analyst team, IT integration specifications: APIs, events, and data mappings, OpenAPI and API contracts, Jira and Confluence, Professional English

• Operationally supervise Business Analysts, organize their activities, prioritize work, and track deliverable progress, in coordination with the IT Coordinator.
• Produce, review, and challenge techno-functional specifications for developers, particularly for APIs, events, data mappings, transformation rules, exchange contracts, and error cases.
• Guarantee the quality, coherence, and completeness of specifications and blueprints, ensuring their alignment with architectural principles and integration needs.
• Act as the interface between business and IT teams, architects, the IT Coordinator, Business Analysts, and developers to ensure understanding of needs and usability of deliverables.
• Structure specification practices: documentation standards, quality criteria, traceability, deliverable reviews, and capitalization in Confluence.
• Track the backlog, tickets, priorities, dependencies, blockers, and progress in Jira in line with the delivery schedule.
• Provide techno-functional expertise on the MILES software, retail banking, automotive financing, and complex IT system integration projects.
• Provide regular reporting to the Delivery Manager and IT Coordinator on progress, risks, decisions, dependencies, anomalies, and deliverable quality.

• Specifications and documentation: OpenAPI, blueprints, Confluence
• Delivery tracking: Jira
• Collaborative tools: Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint
• Security and compliance: GDPR, authentication, authorization, confidentiality, traceability
• Techno-functional specifications produced, reviewed, and validated for developers, covering APIs, events, mappings, transformation rules, and error cases.
• Blueprints produced, consolidated, or reviewed, ready for stakeholder validation.
• API contracts and OpenAPI specifications reviewed and validated according to integration, security, and versioning standards.
• Data mappings between applications documented, controlled, and aligned with business needs and integration constraints.
• Business Analyst backlog and Jira tickets tracked, prioritized, and updated.
• Specification standards and best practices documented in Confluence.
• Operational support for Business Analysts: scoping, support, deliverable review, blocker resolution, and quality improvement.
• Regular reporting on progress, risks, decisions, dependencies, anomalies, and deliverable quality.
• Coordination between application managers, architects, the IT Coordinator, Business Analysts, and developers.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Business Analysis in IT project contexts.
• Proven experience in complex IT system integration, application transformation, or deployment of core banking or retail financing solutions.
• Experience in retail banking and/or the automotive sector, particularly in financing, contracts, customers, vehicles, services, and front, middle, and back-office processes.
• Technical Business Analysis and writing specifications usable by development teams.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and validating OpenAPI specifications and API contracts.
• Understanding of APIs, events, data mappings, transformation rules, flows, and dependencies between applications.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence; knowledge of MILES is a plus.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and data exchange standards, including authentication, authorization, confidentiality, and traceability.
• Ability to lead a team of 3 to 6 Business Analysts, organize activities, and ensure deliverable quality.
• Clear, factual, and resolution-oriented communication; ability to coordinate business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to produce, consolidate, review, and converge blueprints and techno-functional scoping documents.
• English enabling communication with international stakeholders and the production or presentation of techno-functional materials if necessary.
