Responsibilities

Background of the assignment

Within the JZ Control Tower, there is a need for a substantial quality and efficiency improvement in Workforce Management (WFM) and integrated capacity planning. To make operational control future-proof, temporary, high-quality external expertise is necessary at the intersection of WFM tooling, process standardization, and capacity management. This specialized knowledge and transformation experience are not available within the current staff.

• Completing and continuing the WFM tool selection by validating the functional, operational, and technical frameworks of the possible scenarios.
• Developing a concrete implementation roadmap and handover plan based on the scenario chosen by the architecture board.
• Configuring the WFM tool and advising on configuration choices, taking our specific needs into account.
• Setting up and optimizing processes for the different WFM steps (forecasting, capacity planning, scheduling, operational control).
• Writing work instructions for the different process steps.
• Together with management, determining where responsibilities lie within the different WFM steps and ensuring a clear division of tasks.
• Training and guiding employees in executing the process steps and supporting them in using the new WFM tool.
• Assisting in developing and configuring dashboards to monitor and report on performance indicators, and making recommendations for improvements.
• Responsible for structured communication and stakeholder engagement during the implementation process.

Requirements

The proposed candidate has a minimum completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.

The proposed candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience as a WFM advisor.

The proposed candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience with configuring WFM processes.

The proposed candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience with implementing a WFM tool.

Additional Knowledge

Upon receipt, the CVs will be assessed by the hiring manager based on the following criteria. The hiring manager will invite a maximum of three (3) candidates who meet the requirements for a selection interview. The three highest-scoring candidates, based on the wishes, will be invited for a selection interview.
