Project overview
Construction Manager (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Manage the construction site and hold overall operational responsibility throughout the construction and installation phases.
- Coordinate all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) activities on site.
- Obtain and review required work method statements from contractors together with the EHS specialist.
- Ensure implementation of the client's EHS Management System and verify effectiveness through regular site inspections.
- Support procurement activities and ensure construction safety requirements are included in the scope of work.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications and monitor project costs, schedule, and quality.
- Organize final building inspections and coordinate the resolution of identified defects.
- Act as the CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) Subject Matter Expert for smaller investment and maintenance projects from design through execution.
- Prepare tender documentation and support bid evaluation, contractor selection, and award processes.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of CSA standards and documentation.
- Ensure project standards, specifications, and requirements are properly integrated and adhered to during execution.
Requirements

- Strong flexibility, assertiveness, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in matrix-based, cross-functional project teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- German: C1 level (mandatory)
- English: B1 level or higher (preferred)
