Job description
Seeking two experienced Workplace/VDI Engineers for a long-term project involving Omnissa Horizon VDI engineering and rollout. Responsibilities include building and customizing clients, application packaging, GPO/DEM configuration, and troubleshooting.
Project overview
For a long-term customer project, we are looking for 2 experienced Workplace / VDI Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Engineering and rollout of Omnissa Horizon VDI
- Setup and customizing of virtual and physical Windows clients
- Application packaging with App Volumes and ManageEngine Endpoint Central
- GPO and VMware DEM configurations
- 2nd level troubleshooting and optimization of the VDI infrastructure
- Recording and implementation of individual user requirements
Requirements
Framework conditions:
- Several years of experience in Workplace / VDI Engineering
- Very good knowledge of Omnissa Horizon, App Volumes, and VMware DEM
- Experience with Windows clients, Active Directory, and GPO
- Knowledge of ManageEngine Endpoint Central
- Independent way of working and good German language skills
- Start: February/March 2027, onboarding possibly earlier
- Duration: Until December 2027, extension possible
- Workload: 80%, 4 days per week on-site
- Location: Brugg / Beznau region (AG)
- Availability: Dedicated commitment on the agreed days
