Seeking a Senior GenAI Engineer with expertise in LLMs, AI agents, and RAG for an innovative AI project in the insurance sector. The role involves developing an intelligent solution for digital conversation preparation for field staff, integrated as an AI agent into an existing chat assistant platform.
Responsibilities
For an innovative AI project in the insurance environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior GenAI Engineer with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic AI systems, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
The goal is to develop an intelligent solution for digital conversation preparation for field staff, which will be integrated as an AI agent into an existing chat assistant platform.
- Together with a Python Backend Engineer and the existing development team, you will take responsibility for the conception and technical implementation of the GenAI components up to production-ready deployment.
- Development and implementation of LLM-based applications and AI agents with Python
- Conception and orchestration of agentic workflows with LangGraph, LangChain, or comparable frameworks
- Development and implementation of Retrieval-Augmented-Generation (RAG) solutions
- Implementation of web crawling, data preparation, and retrieval processes
- Implementation of tool calling, state management, and LLM evaluation
- Integration of the AI agents into an existing chat assistant platform using Agent-to-Agent Communication (A2A)
- Collaboration with Backend Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Platform teams
- Conducting tests, technical documentation, and preparation for production-ready deployment
Requirements
- Sound practical experience with production-ready GenAI and LLM applications
- Very good knowledge of Python
- Practical experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or comparable agent frameworks
- Experience in the development and orchestration of agentic AI systems
- Sound knowledge of RAG, tool calling, state management, and LLM evaluation
- Experience with web crawling, data preparation, and retrieval
- Experience with APIs and the integration of LLM-based applications
- Independent, solution-oriented way of working and strong team skills
