Advisor Traffic & Mobility

Project overview

As a Traffic and Mobility Advisor, you are responsible for various traffic and infrastructural tasks within the municipality of Lingewaard.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Prepare, guide, and realize traffic, mobility, and small-scale infrastructural projects
• Manage internal and external stakeholders involved in these projects
• Advise the mayor, executive board, and municipal council on traffic-related topics
• Continue and further develop existing covenants with companies and institutions
• Guide and coordinate research into traffic-related issues, such as signage for business parks, influencing navigation systems, a parking lot at Looveer, and truck traffic through Huissen
• Be responsible for the plan preparation of the Karstraat-Stadswal reconstruction
• Lead traffic, mobility, and civil engineering projects from exploration to execution
• Coordinate designs and execution measures with managers, advisors, and contractors
• Manage external consulting firms and evaluate their research results, designs, and specifications
• Advise on traffic aspects within spatial developments and management and maintenance projects
• Prepare executive and council proposals and administrative advice
• Maintain contacts with residents, entrepreneurs, the province, and other stakeholders
• HBO Bachelor's degree as a minimum educational level
• Proven knowledge of traffic-related laws and regulations
• Experience in the preparation and guidance of projects in the field of traffic and infrastructure
• Knowledge of design and execution processes within civil engineering
• Experience working within a municipal organization
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Independent work attitude and results-oriented
