For a client project, we are looking for experienced support in the following position:

Agile Tester / Software Tester

Responsibilities

• Conception, specification, execution, and documentation of functional and non-functional software tests
• Verification of the implementation of commissioned Requests for Change (RfCs) based on test performance descriptions and detailed functional concepts
• Creation, documentation, and tracking of error messages, as well as execution of error re-tests
• Planning, development, execution, and continuous optimization of automated software tests
• Improvement of the performance, stability, and robustness of existing automated test procedures
• Further development and optimization of the application's own test system, as well as integration of new test technologies
• Planning, coordination, and execution of system integration and regression tests
• Creation, maintenance, and management of test cases and associated test documentation
• Execution of database checks and validation of test results in the Oracle database environment
• Independent planning and control of complex test tasks, including progress monitoring and reporting
• Close collaboration with agile development teams, business departments, and other project stakeholders
• Analysis and documentation of test results, as well as derivation of suitable measures for quality assurance
• Execution of knowledge transfer, documentation, and dissemination of test and analysis results to internal employees

Project Background

Within the scope of the project, an existing, business-critical application in the public sector will be further developed both functionally and technically. The application supports central administrative and service processes and is continuously adapted to new legal, functional, and technical requirements.

The goal of the project is to ensure high software quality within the scope of several planned program versions. The focus is on the conception, execution, and automation of software tests, as well as the continuous optimization of existing test procedures and test systems.

Implementation takes place in an agile development environment in close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams, business departments, and other project stakeholders. The focus is on quality assurance, stability, and reliable further development of the existing IT application landscape.
