• Defines, develops, and monitors the target architecture for generative AI, machine learning, and agentic AI within the organization
• Develops reference architectures, architectural principles, and decision frameworks for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid AI solutions
• Ensures that AI models, agents, data flows, platform services, and applications seamlessly align with the broader enterprise architecture
• Develops architectural frameworks for AI Gateway, Model Context Protocol, retrieval solutions, model access, identity management, logging, observability, and lifecycle management
• Advises and supports delivery teams on architectural choices, technical considerations, and the transition from proof of concept to production environments
• Conducts architecture reviews and identifies risks, technical debt, dependencies, and deviations from architectural standards in a timely manner. Integrates privacy, security, and compliance requirements by design into AI solutions, in collaboration with security and data experts
• Detects and promotes reuse of platform and integration components in collaboration with the AI Enabling Team and the Internal Developer Platform
• Analyzes technological evolutions within AI and translates them into impact analyses, strategic options, and recommendations for the organization
• The possibility of part-time remote work is available
• Extensive experience in solution architecture or IT architecture within complex enterprise environments
• Demonstrable experience with API architecture, integration architecture, and event-driven patterns
• Thorough knowledge of LLM and AI platform architectures, including retrieval, model serving, AI agents, evaluation, and observability frameworks
• Experience in translating regulations, governance, and security requirements into concrete architectural principles, guidelines, and guardrails
• Knowledge of architectural decision records (ADRs), reference architectures, non-functional requirements, and lifecycle management
• Insight into cloud, hybrid, and on-premises architectural environments
• Experience within the public sector, G-Cloud, or OISZ context is a strong asset
• You have active knowledge of Dutch and French and passive knowledge of English
• Strong innovative mindset and continuously aware of new developments in AI and digital technology
• Analytical and problem-solving ability to translate complex issues into feasible architectural solutions
• Strong collaboration skills and experience with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to various stakeholders
• Strong advisory skills and experience in guiding decision-making regarding technology and architecture
• Results-oriented with attention to quality, deadlines, and sustainable solutions
• Strategic thinking combined with a pragmatic and hands-on approach
• Ability to structure, visualize, and persuasively present complex information
