AI Image Generation for Product Images

Project overview

An AI image that looks good at first glance is quickly generated. One hundred product images where fabric, color, and cut are exactly right and which nevertheless appear as if from a single mold are a completely different task. For this, we are looking for freelancers with a good eye and experience in AI image generation. The collaboration is 100% remote, from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, starting November 12, 2026.

Responsibilities

You develop prompt strategies for product images: describing image style, light, background, and perspective in such a way that the result remains consistent across an entire collection. You select and prepare reference images so that details such as material, pattern, and fit are retained in the generated image. You maintain system and user prompts for collections, seasons, and campaigns and record which variants have proven effective. You check generated images for errors before release, such as incorrect colors, distorted hands, or invented details, and define checking criteria for the team.

You test new image models against existing workflows and honestly tell us whether a change is worthwhile.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience in AI image generation, ideally for products, fashion, or e-commerce. A trained eye for image composition, color, and light, perhaps from photography, image editing, or design. Systematic work: You document prompts and results in such a way that others can understand and reuse them. Proficiency in a common image editing program for fine-tuning and control. Communication in German or English. Freelance activity based in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.

Nice to have, but not a must: Experience with Nano Banana, basic understanding of image APIs and automated workflows, a portfolio on Behance or Dribbble.
