AI and Data Architect

Project overview

For a challenging project, an experienced AI & Data Architect is sought. The focus is on the conception of modern data and AI architectures, the development of AI agents, and the development of scalable data platforms, taking into account security, governance, and Responsible AI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conception and development of scalable data and AI architectures.
• Creation of end-to-end architecture designs for AI use cases.
• Design of data platforms, data pipelines, and integration architectures.
• Conception of data infrastructures and observability solutions for agentic AI stacks.
• Development and introduction of AI agents.
• Ensuring data quality, governance, and security requirements.
• Evaluation of new data and AI technologies and development of integration concepts.
• Conducting risk assessments and developing security strategies for AI systems.
• Analysis of potential threats such as adversarial attacks and data poisoning, and development of suitable protective measures.
• Documentation of architecture and security concepts.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as an architect of complex data and system landscapes.
• Profound knowledge of microservices, API, and event-driven architectures.
• Very good knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Very good knowledge of modern cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Profound know-how in data modeling, data management, and data pipelines.
• Experience with MLOps and modern DevOps practices.
• Knowledge in software engineering and the development of scalable platforms.
• Experience with generative AI solutions in the enterprise environment.
• Practical experience in the development and introduction of AI agents.
• Very good programming skills in Python and ideally Java or Scala.
• Knowledge in the field of Enterprise Architecture.
• Ideally, experience with logistics processes or supply chain applications.
• Strong communication skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
• Native-level German.
