API & AI Project Manager (Part-time)

Project overview

Context:

Jissen supports the technical management of large accounts and scale-ups, from consulting to implementation, in Cloud, Platform Engineering, Data, and AI. We are looking for an API Management project manager to lead the deployment, migration, or evolution of APIM platforms, including their opening up to generative AI uses.

Missions:

Skills:

• Lead the APIM project end-to-end: scoping, planning, budget, risks, committee management, and reporting to technical management
• Gather and prioritize the needs of API consuming and producing teams, both internal and partner
• Coordinate technical teams (architects, developers, security, operations) and the solution editor
• Implement API governance: catalog, standards, lifecycle, roles and owners, publication process
• Drive API migrations to the new platform and support adoption by teams (developer portal, documentation, training)
• Lead AI use cases for the platform: gateway to AI models, cost monitoring, exposure of tools for agents
• IT Project Management: planning, budget, risks, management of service providers and editors, agile methods
• Good knowledge of at least one APIM solution: Azure API Management, Kong, Apigee, Gravitee, MuleSoft, or WSO2
• Solid understanding of APIs: REST, OpenAPI, security (OAuth2, OIDC), versioning, APIOps
• API governance and change management
• Generative AI culture: LLM APIs, agents, MCP, cost and compliance issues (GDPR, AI Act)
