Consultant API Management & AI Agent

Project overview

Context:

Jissen supports the technical management of large accounts and scale-ups, from consulting to implementation, in Cloud, Platform Engineering, Data, and AI. We are looking for an expert consultant in API Management, capable of auditing and evolving APIM platforms and preparing them for the uses of generative AI and agents.

Missions:

Skills:

• Audit existing APIM platforms: architecture, security, governance, industrialization, operation, costs, developer experience
• Define the target architecture, API standards (OpenAPI, versioning, lifecycle), and associated roadmap
• Implement APIOps: deployment of APIs and policies by code, CI/CD, environments, tests
• Design and deploy an "AI Gateway": token quotas, load balancing between models, semantic caching, content filtering, personal data masking, AI cost tracking by team
• Expose and secure tools for AI agents: MCP servers, OpenAPI descriptions usable by LLMs, agent rights and traceability
• Support and upskill internal teams
• At least one APIM solution mastered in depth: Azure API Management, Kong, Apigee, Gravitee, MuleSoft, or WSO2
• API Security: OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, OWASP API Top 10
• APIOps: GitLab CI or GitHub Actions, Terraform
• Cloud: Azure, AWS, or GCP
• AI: LLM APIs (Azure OpenAI, Mistral, Anthropic, Bedrock), agents, MCP
