Application Developer

Project overview

For deployment with our client in Zurich, we are looking for an Application Developer.

Responsibilities

• New and further development as well as operation of our self-developed services in the DevOps team
• Introduction, use, and establishment of Camunda 8 including upskilling of the existing team
• Verification of solutions according to internal and external security standards
• Continuous improvement and further development of operational processes
• Conceptual collaboration and active shaping of services and architecture
• Advising the business unit on feasibility, options, and implications
• Close collaboration with Product Owner, Business Engineers, and Architecture
• to develop optimal solutions

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• Several years of experience in software development, ideally in the banking environment
• Proven experience in the last 3 years in client onboarding, digital product completion, or client lifecycle management
• Demonstrable experience with Camunda 8 (design and implementation of processes)
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum/Kanban) and DevOps mindset
• You convince with your communicative and team-oriented nature
• Very good German and good English skills
• Experience and very good knowledge with Camunda 8
• Experience and very good knowledge in Java and Angular development as well as with Spring, JPA (Hibernate), Maven, and SQL (Postgres)
• Know-how with Kotlin and Cloud (e.g., Kubernetes/AKS, Docker) is a plus
• Knowledge in the use of Git, IntelliJ, Jenkins, Sonar, and JIRA
• German: C1 – Professional language use
• English: B2 – Upper Intermediate – First (FCE)
• No subcontracting allowed!
