Application Manager Technical Applications

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Application Manager to manage and further develop technical applications. You will be the central interface between the Technical Service, IT, and various system providers and will be responsible for around 16 applications.

Your tasks include managing systems such as elevators, intercom systems, video surveillance, driverless transport systems, and building control systems. You will coordinate disruptions, changes, updates, and releases with internal departments and external suppliers, support the integration of technical systems into the existing IT landscape, and manage external manufacturers and service partners. Furthermore, you will be involved in the introduction, replacement, and further development of technical applications and maintain relevant documentation.

You have completed vocational training or a degree in computer science or business informatics. Sound experience in Application Management and an understanding of IT operations processes as well as Incident, Change, and Release Management are required. Knowledge of troubleshooting, structured problem analysis, interfaces, databases, and system integrations are advantageous. Ideally, you have ITIL knowledge in IT Service Management.

We expect an independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working, strong communication skills, a high degree of service orientation, and very good German language skills. The position offers long-term prospects with possible conversion to permanent employment and development opportunities for business-critical applications.
