For a major industrial group in the Defense & Electronics sector, we are looking for an experienced Application Project Manager to lead application projects from framing to production, ensuring cost, time, and quality targets are met.
Project overview
For a major industrial group in the Defense & Electronics sector, we are looking for an experienced Application Project Manager to lead one or more application projects for the IT department from end to end, from framing to production, while respecting the Cost / Deadlines / Quality triangle.
Your missions:
The projects have high visibility: Industry 4.0, Move to Cloud, SaaS migrations.
Profile sought
Minimum 5 years of real and demonstrated experience in application project management (leadership, not just coordination)
Experience in a complex industrial environment (aerospace, defense, electronics)
Proven transverse multi-team leadership and mastered relationship with publishers/integrators
Ability to manage non-dedicated resources, anticipate blockages, and maintain project momentum
Writing specifications, managing AMS / application maintenance, RAID monitoring
Technical knowledge of Windows, databases, and middleware (no infrastructure expertise required)
French required, English essential (documentation, exchanges with subsidiaries and international contacts)
DR clearance (CPR checks)
Work environment
Assignment based in Massy
No or very little remote work

- Frame and structure the project: objectives, scope, detailed schedule, workload, budget, and risks
- Manage the entire project cycle, from framing to production
- Ensure complete budget management: planning, monitoring, and arbitration
- Coordinate IT teams (application referents, architects, experts, infrastructure and application RUN) and Business departments, in a context of non-dedicated resources
- Manage publishers and integrators: specifications, AMS, maintenance contracts
- Organize and lead steering committees: kick-off, weekly project reviews, monthly steering committees
- Produce project deliverables and ensure regular reporting (RAID monitoring: Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions)
- Guarantee security, quality, and GDPR compliance, as well as the internal project management methodology
