About the Role

Our client, a leading contractor in the construction sector, is looking for a Senior Asset Management Consultant to strengthen its asset management capability. You will work with senior management and the different business units to improve how the company manages, maintains and optimises its asset base, including heavy equipment and materials-handling assets.

• Design and implement a predictive maintenance plan for the company’s fixed and mobile assets
• Identify and deliver process optimisation opportunities across asset lifecycle management
• Coordinate project activities and report progress to senior management
• Act as Point of Contact for different business units and support the rollout.
• Manage the asset register, asset performance data and lifecycle planning
• Define maintenance strategies, KPIs and reporting for asset availability, reliability and cost
• Support CAPEX/OPEX planning and replacement decisions
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards
• Work with site teams, operations, procurement and external suppliers
• Proven experience as a Senior Asset Management Consultant or similar, in an industrial or infrastructure environment
• Background in construction or heavy industry is strongly preferred
• Experience with heavy materials and equipment, ideally cranes
• Hands-on experience with predictive and preventive maintenance approaches
• Strong project coordination skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders
• Analytical, pragmatic and able to work independently across multiple sites
• Willing to travel throughout Belgium
• At least conversational level of both Dutch and French required
• Fluent English required
• A 12-month+ contract with a major player in the sector
• A varied, high-visibility role with direct access to senior management
