Automation Engineer for Robotics Applications

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced automation engineer to support our robotics department at the Memmingen site. In this role, you will hold a key position in the development and maintenance of automation solutions.

Your tasks include the setup and support of prototypes and laboratory tests, wiring, and mechanical and electrical assembly of robotics systems and accessories. You will support and maintain existing robotics cells, program robots, and create technical documentation. Furthermore, you will carry out electrical planning and take care of data maintenance.

For this position, you bring a completed apprenticeship in electrical engineering with a focus on automation technology and further training as a technician – alternatively, a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification. You have practical experience and sound knowledge in automation, as well as experience in handling robot cells and their programming.

We expect a structured and reliable way of working, very good German skills in speaking and writing, and very good English skills. Knowledge of planning software such as Eplan and EFK is an advantage.

This position offers you the opportunity to work on innovative robotics projects in a dynamic environment and to further develop your expertise. The work is carried out on-site in Memmingen.
