Working outdoors. In our low and medium voltage networks to be precise. This goes hand in hand with interesting technical issues, freedom, and ample growth opportunities. You make the grid reliable at Alliander. The energy transition is impossible without you as an electrician. You often hear that every day is different. But in your role, that is truly the case. Via your own tablet, you check the schedule to see which tasks are ready for that day. From your company bus, you leave home for the location in your work area in the Amsterdam region. One day you resolve a fault together with an electrician in training.

The next day, you repair a cable that was hit during excavation work. And what about a job where a new residential area needs to be supplied with a low-voltage network? A small selection, because there is much more, of course. We are creating the energy grid of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as an electrician, you contribute to this. For example, you are involved in: Installing, maintaining, and resolving faults on the low and medium voltage network, transformer stations, and public lighting. Guiding electricians in training. You make the grid more complete at Alliander.

Here you are jointly responsible for the management and maintenance of energy grids such as electricity and gas. This is how we supply energy to households, businesses, and other customers. We can only monitor our energy grid if you have enough energy. And the right work environment gives you that. The Maintenance & Faults department consists of friendly and helpful colleagues. You always help each other with larger, complex issues. And there is, of course, time for a friendly chat or a good joke. Your future colleague will tell you more about it here. That makes the work challenging. And it keeps you learning." You make the grid more energetic Switching in the electricity grid and testing if it works. You do that from your own strengths and talents. And you do that with us. Do you contribute to that with your logical way of thinking? Great! Especially if you supplement this with: · A degree in electrical engineering, preferably in low and medium voltage. · At least 2 years of relevant work experience. · A BEI certificate AVP LS + VP MS. Experience with switching is also a must. · A B driver's license.
