Summary:

This position as an Automotive Software Update & Integration Engineer involves supporting software updates and integration processes for connected vehicle functions, aiming to ensure the quality and efficiency of software integration in the vehicle environment.

• Support of software update and integration activities in the vehicle environment
• Analysis and optimization of update processes for connected vehicle functions
• Integration and validation of software components at ECU and system level
• Error analysis, troubleshooting, and technical clarification of complex integration issues
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth integration processes
• Support of test and release activities for vehicle software
• Experience with software update systems in the automotive environment
• Good knowledge of vehicle architectures, ECU systems, and communication protocols
• Experience with OTA updates, diagnostic systems, and flashing processes
• Knowledge of Ethernet, DoIP, UDS, MQTT, SOME/IP, and HTTP
• Practical experience with analysis and testing tools such as Wireshark, Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools
• High willingness to learn and strong communication skills
