Job description
The role involves designing, developing, and administering Azure cloud infrastructure, focusing on security, automation, and migration support for internal services.
Responsibilities
- Conception and further development of the Azure architecture for internal services as well as technical implementation of defined infrastructure and security requirements.
- Administration and further development of the ICS Azure environment as well as standardized provisioning of cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep and GitHub).
- Technical administration of the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment for the Admin Session Host, including coordination of user access, firewall exceptions, and required applications with IT Security and ITCS.
- Technical support for data center decommissioning, including clarification of migration-related infrastructure issues, coordination of resource requests, and support of the defined migration processes.
- Conception and further development of operational and security concepts for critical Azure infrastructures as well as creation of the associated technical documentation.
- Design and implementation of standardized infrastructure processes for deployment, patching, monitoring, backup/restore, and incident management in coordination with the responsible departments.
Requirements
- Must-haves:
- Azure Administration
- Infrastructure as Code (Bicep and GitHub)
- Understanding of Azure identity, authorization, and security concepts
- Experience with infrastructure migrations (data center decommissioning) and operational/security documentation
- Very good German language skills (min. language level C2)
- Sound practical experience with Microsoft Azure and the administration of cloud infrastructures.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Confident communication and coordination with IT Security, platform operations, service providers, and migration managers.

- Duration: Until 31.03.2027 with option for extension
- Remote/On-site: 3 days a week on-site in Frankfurt, 2 days remote
- Utilization: 50-60% (Approximately 80 hours per month)
