Azure Senior Platform Engineer
Rate - 550 a day Inside IR35
Start date October 2026 to June 30, 2027
Location - Southampton - 2 x a month on site - Wednesday and Thursday
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Azure Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and support secure, scalable, and resilient cloud platforms. You will play a key role in platform automation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, governance, and cloud operations, working closely with engineering, security, and delivery teams.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure platform services.
- Expert knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, security, identity, monitoring, and governance.
- Experience with Kubernetes/AKS, containers, and modern platform engineering practices.
- Knowledge of Cloudflare, WAF, CDN, Zero Trust, and edge security solutions would be advantageous.
- Ability to troubleshoot, automate, and optimise enterprise cloud environments.
