Project overview

The Daycare Centers and Social Space service area includes early childhood education and support services, such as daycare centers, early help, and social space projects. The goal is to provide preventive support for families with young children early on, as well as low-threshold services for families in the social space.

For our Children, Youth, Family department, we are looking for a temporary replacement for parental leave until approximately 10/31/2027, starting 08/01/2026:

• Personnel management, vacation and training planning, as well as service and professional supervision
• Professional and structural orientation, management, and further development of facilities and services
• Participation in the development and implementation of new approaches and structures in the sense of "New Work" and agile working
• Cooperation and networking with the youth welfare office, other social youth welfare facilities and associations, as well as participation in relevant committees
• Participation in the creation of the economic plan as well as in the acquisition and billing of funding
• Completed degree as a social pedagogue or B.A. Social Work or comparable
• Experience as a manager in the field of daycare centers or youth welfare
• Knowledge of legal foundations (KiBiz, BKiSchG, SGB VIII, SGB IX)
• Strong communication, cooperation, and problem-solving skills
• Resilience, ability to cooperate, and assertiveness
• Attractive remuneration according to Caritas AVR tariff: depending on qualifications and professional experience, you will earn between 4,352 and 6,382 gross (full-time) per month, plus allowances & annual special payments
