• You develop applications for timetable construction and route allocation as part of an agile team and accompany the entire process from requirements analysis to operation.
• You develop secure, optimized, and stable microservices based on Spring Boot and integrate the implemented software into the Enterprise Integration Platform and the IT base landscape.
• You create and perform tests along the test pyramid, thus ensuring the quality of the developed applications.
• You fix errors from the test phases in applications and components.
• You optimize the performance of the developed applications and the associated infrastructure, for example, databases.
• You are responsible for the stable operation of the developed applications up to and including the acceptance environment.
• You take over level 2 to level 3 support of the developed application during business hours.
• You support system architects and business analysts in creating technical and functional concepts.
• You determine non-functional requirements, document them, and monitor their implementation in the project.
• You document the applications technically, functionally, and operationally.
• You conduct reviews of design, code, and tests.
• At least 1 year of experience in developing services with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, and REST APIs or Open API.
• Independent and iterative work with a focus on incremental product development.
• Strong teamwork skills and active, reliable collaboration, even in distributed work situations.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience in developing services with Kotlin and TypeScript.
• Experience in the application operation of applications in Kubernetes clusters and AWS.
• Interest in DevOps practices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL in data-intensive application environments.
• Confident use of agile methods and active participation in providing a potentially shippable increment in every sprint.
• Analytical mindset and assertiveness.
• Good German language skills, both written and spoken (min. C1).
