Service Description

We are looking for support in building, operating, and further developing an IT service for simulation-based prediction of the operational readiness of large military equipment.

The goal of the project is to predict the future operational readiness of selected large equipment and sustainably improve their availability by centrally storing, processing, and analyzing technical and logistical data, as well as using simulation-based prediction methods.

The focus is on scaling and functional further development of an existing, containerized microservice application, which has already been prepared and tested for operation on a cloud platform.

Junior Account Manager

• Completed university degree in computer science or a comparable training or qualification
• Valid certification as Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) or comparable certification
• At least 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of REST API interfaces, especially with Python-based web frameworks like FastAPI and Django
• At least 5 years of experience in software architecture, especially:
• 3-Tier Architecture
• Hexagonal Architecture / Clean Architecture
• Design Patterns such as Observer, Singleton, Factory, Adapter, and Inversion of Control
• At least 5 years of experience with Python and relevant frameworks and libraries, especially:
• FastAPI and Django
• Plotly, Matplotlib, Seaborn
• Dash and Jupyter
• PySpark or Flink
• Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and Statsmodels
• At least 3 years of experience with asynchronous communication patterns and event-driven processing, especially RabbitMQ or comparable technologies, message queues, message brokers, and service interfaces
• At least 3 years of experience with container technologies and Kubernetes, especially:
• Operation of containers and creation of container images
• Podman and Kubernetes
• Helm and Kubespray
• At least 3 years of experience in Linux system administration, especially Bash, top, grep, git, and ps, as well as valid LFCS or comparable certification
• At least 3 years of experience with agile working methods, especially Scrum or Kanban, Definition of Ready/Done, and acceptance criteria
• At least 3 years of experience with build automation and CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab CI/CD
• At least 3 years of experience in applying software quality assurance principles, especially code reviews, clean code, SOLID, SonarQube, and linters
• At least 3 years of experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL, including database connection, schema definition, SQL queries, CRUD operations, and performance tuning
• At least 1 year of experience in planning, design, and execution of data and application migrations
• At least 1 year of experience with ETL/ELT processes and workflows, especially MinIO, Apache Airflow, Apache Iceberg, and Trino
