We are looking for a freelance Construction Supervisor for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services on a construction site in Berlin. The role involves overseeing construction, ensuring quality, and managing contractual matters.

- Construction supervision and quality assurance of MEP trades on the construction site
- Contact person for construction contract law issues in the project
- Control and follow-up of correspondence with subcontractors and specialist companies
- Communication and coordination of all parties involved on the construction site
- Representation of the client on site
- Interface management between the individual trades and specialist planners
- Supervision of the timely and proper execution of the work
- Documentation of construction progress as well as defects and deviations
- Conducting quality controls

- Several years of experience in MEP construction supervision
- Experience in construction supervision using VOB (Vergabe- und Vertragsordnung für Bauleistungen
- German Construction Contract Procedures)
- Very good knowledge of hospital and cleanroom construction (participation in at least 2-4 projects in hospital or cleanroom environments)
- Experience with ventilation and air conditioning systems in hospital environments
- Knowledge of ventilation units and their connection to heating, cooling, and humidification systems (especially steam humidifiers)
- Understanding of the special requirements for duct and air duct installation in hospital construction
- Knowledge in the field of fire protection, including fire and smoke control dampers, air sections, and fire protection requirements for ventilation systems
- Experience with BIM-based projects and 3D models (Dalux)
- Confident use of MS Project
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- High degree of self-organization and independent working style
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Experience in Lean Construction Management or Lean Management
