License Management Consultant (Remote)

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced consultant in the field of license management and software asset management for a demanding consulting project. The position is predominantly remote and will be handled from Germany.

Responsibilities

You will independently carry out analysis, conception, consulting, and audit services in strategic IT license management. Your activities include:

All services must be demonstrably documented. Technical implementations are not part of the order, unless specifically agreed upon.

• Analysis of existing IT license management: Structured recording and evaluation of organization, methods, processes, and documentation. Documentation of the current situation with identification of weaknesses and process gaps.
• Fit/Gap analysis and process modeling: Evaluation against best practices, development of Fit/Gap results, and modeling of optimized target processes.
• Strategic target and solution scenarios: Development and comparative evaluation of scenarios for organization, processes, and tool support with professionally justified recommendations.
• Evaluation of SAM tool implementation: Comparison of target states with existing implementations and documentation of recommendations for action.
• Internal IT license audits: Planning and execution of audits for defined software products and license inventories.
• License contract optimization potentials: Professional analysis of optimization possibilities.
