Experienced IT Consultant Specialist Senior needed for a hybrid project in the transport sector in Frankfurt am Main, focusing on IT license and Software Asset Management.

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Consultant Specialist Senior (m/f/d) for a project engagement in the transport sector. The position is hybrid with 10% remote share and is located in Frankfurt am Main.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the analysis and further development of IT license management and Software Asset Management. Your activities include status analyses, fit/gap analyses, process modeling, evaluation of SAM tools, conducting internal IT license audits, and creating action catalogs and implementation plans. You will work with SAP and Matrix42 and support the optimization of license inventories, usage information, and contractual license bases.

Requirements

Desirable:

Technologies: Software Asset Management, SAP, Matrix42

At least 5 years of practical experience in strategic and operational IT license management and Software Asset Management (within the last 10 years)
Proven expertise in process modeling and conducting structured status and fit/gap analyses
Experience in conception, execution, and documentation of internal IT license audits
Industry experience in license management consulting in the transport sector
Knowledge in analysis of license inventories and contractual bases
Technical knowledge in SAM tools and their evaluation
Practical experience with SAM tool implementations
Experience with license and procurement-related SAP data analysis
Project management experience in license management
