We are looking for a BizTalk Consultant (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

As a BizTalk Consultant, you will be responsible for the support, further development, and operation of a business-critical integration platform in an international corporate environment. You will work at the interface between operations, engineering, and future cloud transformation.

Starting in January, the strategic re-implementation of the integration platform based on Microsoft Azure will begin.

Technical Environment

System Landscape

• Ensuring the smooth operation of the BizTalk landscape
• Daily monitoring of the integration platform using BizTalk360
• Analysis, processing, and tracking of incidents and disruptions
• Event management and proactive error detection
• Ensuring the availability and stability of business-critical interfaces
• Support with root cause analyses and sustainable troubleshooting
• Implementation of service requests and changes
• Further development of existing integrations and interfaces
• Support for onboarding new companies and businesses onto the integration platform
• Participation in infrastructure and lifecycle topics
• Support for the further development of the application landscape
• Technical consulting for internal departments and IT stakeholders
• Support for the gradual decommissioning of the existing BizTalk environment
• Analysis of existing integrations and migration planning
• Participation in the conception and implementation of the Azure-based successor solution

• Over 200 active interfaces

Requirements

Framework Conditions:

• Several years of experience in the operation and further development of Microsoft BizTalk Server
• Experience in incident, change, and service request management
• Knowledge in the development and support of integration solutions
• Experience with BizTalk360 is an advantage
• Ideally, initial experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services
• Structured and independent way of working
• Very good communication skills in German and English
• Start: from October
• Duration: 6 months+
• Utilization: 1 day/week, from 2027 at least 50% days/week
• Location: remote
• Language: German and English
