Business Analyst – Financial Flows and Treasury / Banking Powers

Project overview

As part of a program to overhaul its Finance IT system, a large group is looking for a Business Analyst to support its financial flow and treasury management projects.

You will join a project team working on two complementary areas: an internally developed financial flow management solution and treasury software covering bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and banking powers management.

Your missions

In collaboration with the functional referent, business teams, and IT teams, you will participate in the implementation of the solutions:

Profile sought

You have significant experience in Business Analysis on financial flow management projects: transfers, direct debits, receipts, disbursements, and bank exchanges.

Experience in treasury, particularly in bank reconciliations, forecasting, or banking powers, will be appreciated.

Work environment

You will work within a Group IT department, in conjunction with the Finance and Investment teams, in an environment combining internal developments and packaged software solutions. The scope includes banking flows, exchanges via the SWIFT network, treasury, and banking powers.

• Write functional specifications and user stories, covering business requirements, interfaces, and HMIs.
• Develop detailed test plans and specifications.
• Participate in qualification and acceptance testing phases with various stakeholders.
• Contribute to updating existing and target application maps.
• Support production deployments.
• Produce documentation necessary for operations: procedures, operating methods, and service design documents.
• Monitor your activity, communicate on progress, and report alerts.
• Respect project priorities, workloads, and milestones.
• Expertise in writing functional specifications and user stories.
• Proven mastery of financial flows and their formats.
• Mastery of test plan and acceptance specification design.
• Proven experience with HP ALM.
• Knowledge of Jira and agile practices.
• Knowledge of treasury management processes.
