Business Analyst NPL / Collections & Recovery

Project overview

For a client, we are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst NPL / Collections & Recovery.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and business conception of NPL/Collections processes
• Definition of rules, segmentations, decision tables, and exception processes
• Creation of business requirements for automated process flows
• Support and execution of business tests
• Integration of IFRS 9 stage transfer and value adjustment logic
• Coordination between business departments and IT

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in retail credit processing, collections, restructuring/settlement, or recovery
• Very good understanding of the end-to-end process: dunning stages, deferral, termination, judicial dunning procedure, enforcement, garnishment, consumer insolvency, collateral realization, write-off, and debt sale
• Experience with business concepts for automation
• Experience with business tests
• Understanding of IFRS 9 Stage 2 / Stage 3 as well as value adjustment logic

Project Context

As part of an automation project in retail banking, existing NPL/Collections processes are to be further developed and automated from a business perspective. The focus is on the end-to-end processing of non-performing loans, from the first payment default to settlement, insolvency, or debt sale.
