What if someone can no longer pay their loan?

Then you want the bank to act carefully, humanely, and according to the rules. For a sustainable, socially involved Dutch bank in Utrecht, we are looking for someone who ensures that the systems behind that process do exactly what they need to do.

These systems are built by a development team in India. You are the link between them. You translate what the bank needs into assignments that the team can execute without a doubt. Then you check if what is delivered is actually correct. You are an interpreter, director, and quality controller in one.

No endless backlog meetings, but real ownership: from the initial idea to the working solution.

Who are we looking for?

Someone who feels at home between business and technology, and who gets energy from reducing complex questions to something everyone understands. Furthermore, you have:

Knowledge of debt collection, special management, or lending? Nice to have, but not a must.

• You will talk to the business, architects, the data team, and service managers, and you will uncover what needs to change.
• You will write this out as clear epics. These will be so concrete that a team 7,000 kilometers away knows what to build.
• You will manage the external team. You will monitor progress, approve or reject deliverables, and keep the collaboration tight and pleasant.
• You will be co-owner of the applications and ensure that they continue to run stably and improve.
• You will think about the future, including a possible transition to a SaaS solution.
• Bachelor's/Master's work and thinking level;
• Experience with managing or collaborating with offshore or outsourcing parties;
• Experience with writing epics or requirements for an external party;
• Experience in a financial or compliance-driven environment;
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to engage both internal colleagues and external teams.
• A salary of €5,552 – €6,570 gross per month including benefits based on 36 hours per week
