Business Architect

Project overview

As a Business Architect, you will contribute to the Future Proof Monitoring and Security program of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Translating strategic ambitions into concrete IT solutions
• Connecting processes, capabilities, and information needs with applications and technology
• Working according to the Novius Architecture Framework
• Ensuring alignment between the KMar and chain partners, including the National Police
• Realizing a domain architecture for connection to the Operational Center B&B and linking with the Operational Planning System
• Acting as a connecting link between business and the IT column
• Advising steering committees and maintaining contact with DI&T
• Ensuring that project choices contribute to the digital ambitions of the organization
• Guiding the transition to a future-proof ecosystem
• Developing and realizing solutions within the IS architecture
• Determining which adjustments are needed for hardware, software, processes, and technology platforms
• Ensuring interoperability, scalability, and security
• Profile as Enterprise Architect according to the eCF, reference area A.05 Designing Architecture
• Minimum of 4 years of demonstrable work experience in a comparable role within this eCF profile
• Demonstrable experience as an enterprise or domain architect within a central government organization in the security or justice domain (such as Police, Defense, NCTV, Public Prosecution Service, or DJI)
• Knowledge of and interest in Monitoring and Security, personal security, or a comparable high-risk operational security domain
• Experience with architecture projects related to chain digitization, platform integration, or information sharing systems within the government
