Senior Business Engineer – Investment Solutions & Portfolio Management /100/ ZH

Project

As part of the "Ambition Investment Business of the Future" initiative, new solutions for the investment business of private clients to private banking are being implemented. A Business Engineer is sought who brings deep expertise in the investment business and supports the technical requirements for mandate and portfolio fund solutions from conception and specification to technical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of customer needs and translation into concrete functional requirements
• Conception and specification of features and user stories
• Preparation and execution of workshops and refinements with business and IT stakeholders
• Creation of requirements and detailed specifications
• Functional support of the development and implementation of business solutions
• Definition of interface adjustments and data models
• Support with application configuration and, if necessary, GUI design
• Planning and execution of functional and non-functional tests
• Close collaboration with agile IT/Scrum teams
• Independent coordination of functional implementation within the respective projects

• Completed degree (FH/Uni) in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Banking & Finance, or comparable qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Engineer / Business Analyst
• Several years of experience in implementing IT projects in the investment business
• Sound expertise in Investment Solutions, Portfolio Management, Mandate and Fund Solutions
• Experience in the banking environment, ideally with a large financial institution
• Very good knowledge of business analysis methods and modeling techniques
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams
• Ability to precisely analyze functional requirements and specify them in a technically feasible manner
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Independent, solution-oriented, and results-driven work approach
• German: C1
• English: nice to have
